Hong Kong Airport: Free Wi-Fi
I caught an earlier flight out of LAX so I have about 4 hours in HK versus 1. When I opened up the ibook in HK airport - there are 2 wi-fi networks…both are paid access - but the wi-fi connect one allows you to set up a test account for 24 free hours. Good little tip for folks coming through not so often.
Got to see Finding Neverland on the flight over. Fantastic movie. That Johnny Depp guy is a pretty good actor, eh? Every movie I see him in he is phenomenal and/or the movie is excellent.
Also saw parts of National Treasure and some other shithouse crap.
Update 1 hour later: When I arrived here at 6 am - everything was closed… The Starbucks that Chrisso and I stopped in on the way to Nick’s wedding finally opened and people are stirring.
A young african american dude came up to me and asked if I speak english. He looked scared out of his wits - 1st time in Asia - on his way to Singapore to hook up with a ship - a merchant marine he will be. So many choices we have in life - that is one that I never considered…but I’m sure it would be there if I wanted it.
More Opps
So many opportunities to start businesses etc.
3+ hours on the ibook battery and still 37% left…not bad compared to the jet-engine on my pc laptop. of course - not a fair comparison - the pc laptop is a desktop replacement and 2 years old…but still - nice to have longer battery life for sure.
Cubs win opener
I’m late to this one - but good start!

Ma - you’ll like it I think. If you can wait, I’ll be being several copies of the DVD on this trip. I have so many people asking for DVD’s - I may just buy 2 of everything in the store. May have to buy an extra bag to carry it.
Hong KongI’ll wait and you know that’s really hard for an American! Come back sooner! He! He!
United StatesThanks for the information buddy. Now I can’t wait to go to Hong Kong.
BTW: I’m really inclined to let you find your way to Bacau on your own
