Weekend stuff and Rafting in Maupin

A Classic weekend just passed. We close the office at noon on friday. Got to finally see Star Wars w/ Chrisso. I thought it was good before a quick nap and the BootsnAll get together on Friday nite. A great group of folks gathered - someone will post pics soon.

The best part of friday nite, was connecting with a diverse group of people who all appreciated and had a deep thrist for travel. So many perspectives and stories. Good fun.

Donovan is preparing for a 6 day rafting trip in Idaho and wanted to practice with his boat mate so he recruited a people to fill a boat. I was lucky enuff to make it with Alex, Jason, Lindsay, Styx, and Angela. It was an excellent time. Donovan is a superb guide with all this fun extra knowledge stuff like:

- Free floating down rapids on an offshot of the Deschutes
- Doing wheellies with the raft
- Bucking bronco stuff

And lots of other stuff. I am a bit sore and sunburnt…can’t wait todo it again.

Styx mentioned doing a 3 day - 2 nite trip weekend of August 12th - anyone interested?
