Memorial Day Weekend at the Farm

At our monday morning meeting yesterday, Chris, Dave and I came to the realization that this upcoming weekend is Memoria Day Weekend. An extra day off, ie monday. I have no concrete plans for this weekend but I thought I’d share what Chris and I are doing up here and see if anyone wants to join in.
Chris and I bought a 20 acre farm/property last week in Snowden, WA. It’s 1/2 meadow and 1/2 forest with a nice sized house and a huge deck that have double mountain views of Mt. Adams and Mt Hood. We spent last weekend up there with Lawrence mowing, tractoring, cleaning etc.
We figured we go up there again this weekend and invite friends that want to come up and join us for a day or the whole weekend. Why come?
1) It’s Quiet
2) We have free wifi
3) You can look at the mountains a lot and then get back to what you were doing
4) Bar-be-que - we have a big one and lotsa meet
5) You always wanted to drive or play around a tractor - Short Tractor Video
6) If you want to camp, we have lotsa space
7) If you don’t want to camp, we have lotsa space
I think there are some other reasons, but it is beautiful and there is plenty of stuff to-do or not to-do if that is your style.
Please e-mail me if you wanna visit for a day or stay up for any night. The place is 75 minutes drive from Portland.

United StatesSounds like an awesome weekend. How I would love to join you….
United StatesWe wish you could come as well…anytime this summer you can make a trip out this way?
United StatesYes, yes, Freesia, come. We’ll set you to work! All play, really - talk, eat, drink non alcoholic beverages, listen to favorites, sleep, be alone, be with someone and then recycle.
United StatesMary I would love to be there for the weekend to spend time with all of you! I even looked into airfare but at such the last minute, prices were outrageous. But Sean, a PDX trip this summer is possible. We’ll have to see what’s happening with my J-O-B…
United StatesHouse looks great sean cant wait to check it out when I get back.
