London Bombings: Thoughts

London-like attack not expected in US

I am not suprised that this happened. I fully expect that bombings and stuff like this will continue to happen for the rest of my life. The way Bush talks - like this war on terror started since he took office etc. Stuff like this has been going on for centuries. A group of people get pissed off and kill/destroy shit. It’s always happend, and it always will. I hate to say it, but, get used to it. Expect it. All is takes is just a few disgruntled people on this globe to cause havoc like this…

What is that saying, History repeats itself - blah, blah, blah - It wil continue to happen

I am sad for the folks affected by this and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Even though I am cynical that global peace will be achieved - I do hope that folks can learn, communicate and have dialogue before resorted to these tactics.
