Most of the celebrations, however, were more joyous than violent. Screaming and singing, many fans seemed to throw off a week’s worth of stress with arm-pumping euphoria. A few smoked celebration cigars in Kenmore Square, singing the Standells’ classic ‘’Dirty Water” song, the team’s unofficial anthem.

Your blog FINALLY looks cool. :-) But I still can’t comment on your site because I don’t want to sign up for some blogger account.

I’m sorry to hear about your back/feet. It sounds like ugly shoes are in your future. One thing, I don’t understand where you are. Sometimes I hear you’re hanging in PDX, but then you write me from LAX. Write again re Monday details.
