Mini-Chopper on Alberta St for Last Thursday

image249.jpg

The Alberta Street Last Thursday was going on last night and I got to experience for the first time since last summer with Court, Brad and Max….

I have been twice, once with JenLeo and another with Miguel, and a bunch of other friends…this street is growing like mad - or has in the past year. So many more upscale shops and restaurants, and less hippies than 1 year ago. This place is way past arrived and real estate prices are reflecting this. There is a building on 28th and Alberta that I always thought (as did many others) would make a gr8 building for the BootsnAll Travel Cyber Cafe and Hostel - well - prices are skyrocketing so I will have to find another up and coming area. :-)

I can’t wait to see the changes! As long as the Tin Shed is still going strong.

So, that boarded up brick building that needs all the work is finally for sale? What’s the asking price?

I think that if you can find a home a few blocks off Alberta for under 300k, then it’s still a great deal. Buying a home in California on a humble single income is beyond hope. I love your neighborhood, but I definitely want to hear about other up and comers you find.

See you soon.

The Tin Shed is still there - buseir than ever all hours of the day. The consistency of their food has dropped in my opinion. Many days I order the same dish, and it comes in all different shapes, sizes, and quality.

The boarded up brick building is not for sale. :-( - the Hungarian bloke that owns it may never sell.
