Garage Sale on Fremont and 13th
Beausse and are are having a Garage Sale this morning. Just sold my old bicycle for $25 that I paid 95 for about 7 years ago. Not bad…the guy seems happy as well.
When I ask an Indonesian person to tell me about themselves they will
talk about where they are from and their family, not about how much
they earn or how great they are.
from this post by Nick
This is a great reminder…I think I hear quite a bit about “how great they are and how much coin they earn” quite often. For my friends, please tell me if I ever do shit like that and slap me in the arse or lightly on the face…
Nick is coming for a month to Portland (November) - can’t wait to hang out with him and hear more stories.

Just a quick clarification: A slap on the arse is a reward or at least it is construed so from watching the interaction between teammates in football. This odd custom, which I completely don’t understand won’t be one I will partake of anytime soon with you. But if you need a slap in the face, Ioan should be first in line for all the crap you dole out to him because of the Wanker he is. East Side Out.
