Rest in Peace: Michelle Nunes

A friend of mine Michelle Nunes died the other day.  Chris just told me a few minutes ago.  Sorry to hear this and peace and prayers to her other friends and family.  I was lucky enough to know her for about a year.

Very SAD - especially for those left behind, who knew her well and will feel the loss.

What a tragedy to this world. This girl touched every person she came in contact with even if for a short time. I will miss her and never forget her! She will watch over all of us now.

It is a tragedy for someone so young with so much living left. I have a few Michelle stories to remember her by. We are all off to the memorial service in Portland tommorrow.

When Michelles mom called me Monday. I did not think it could be possible.

Michelle was my best friend for many years, through High School and after. I will never for get her smile and energy. She would light a room up. The life of the party, if you were felling down, Michelle was there. I have many memories of Michelle, and they were all great. Whether is was listening to Tracy Chapman or skinny dippin with the boys…

I know Michelle will be missed my all. She has touched so many lifes. Her Family and friends will be in my thoughts & prayers.

I cannot express how sad and devastated my family and I are over this vital and vivacious young lady who devoured LIFE—she lived her life with such energy and spirit — tho she was only with us a short while, she left her mark on us all.

Tho you never rested much in your own life, sweet Michelle, go now and rest your head on God’s shoulder. He will comfort you. All our love, The Chans

Wow, when I googled Michelle’s name, I didn’t expect to find such a nice picture of her. She was my cousin, I saw her maybe 3 times in the past 5 years, but it seems she has some good friends up in Portland. I’m glad for that. Thanks for posting the pic.

MICHELLE IS MY NIECE AND WILL BE MISSED BY ALL OF HER FAMILY.

WE WERE SO TOUCHED BY HER MEMORIAL SERVICE, WE DIDN’T SEE MICHELLE MUCH AS SHE GOT OLDER. SO MANY TIMES EVERYONE SEEMS TO GET BUSY AND THE TIME SPENT TOGETHER GETS LESS AND LESS.

I KNEW MICHELLE AS A SMALL GIRL, BUT DID NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT HER ADULT LIFE. WOW WHAT A LIFE SHE LED AND SHE TOUCHED SO MANY LIVES. SHE WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS.
