Keener Family Reunion
This has been an fantastic week. Last Saturday was the Keener Family Reunion (from my great grandparents down - 350 family members) - and this afternoon starts from my grandparents down Family Reunion in Potter County, PA.
I have learned quite a bit about who me family is and where they came from. Loads of them are farmers and what I would call very hard workers. You will not hear them complain about their predicament in life. Tremendous faith and honesty about them.
They define “hustle”
Of course, the majority of these folks I meet from my family are on the east coast and hold these values. The exact opposite of the values that I see becoming more prevalent in American Culture and especially on the West Coast of the US.
I am super stoked to see my cousins and have a bit of fun this weekend. Cheers to the Keener’s.
