Caffeine Suppositories: Doping

With every athlete this side of the Atlantic being accused of performance enhancing supplements, I am considering joining the fray.  I read a book about an Irish cyclist who rode in the Tour in the late 80’s early 90s.  He use caffeine suppositories and said they worked quite well.

I am thinking 1 might be helpful for my middle of the nite run for Hood To Coast.  A massive caffiene kick - and hey, at least I am not using steroids?

Where can I pick these up?

They’re called coffee beans and you can usually pick them up at your local coffee shop.

Your rectum will extract the vital essence from the beans and will discard the husks during the periodic evacuation procedures.

If that doesn’t sound good, you could try these:

Do you REALLY want to do that? It’s been my experience with HTC that “evacuation” needs come fast and frequently.

I’d opt for a pinch of ground coffee packed inside your lower lip like a big old ‘chaw of tabaccy.

Hey Sean, you maniac. So, what did you end up doing and how did HTC go? I drove by the BnA house today and saw the van in front with the number and had to check in…
