Sunday thoughts from theFarm
It’s about 5 am and everyone is sleeping. This has been the story since we arrived a few days ago. I get up around 5 am or so and do my own thing for about 3 hours b4 everyone gets up. It’s the best part of the day, not sure why so many folks want to sleep through it. I suppose folks can say the same thing about the 9 pm to midnight hours or some other 3 hour chunk that I sleep through.

I have tried out there social bookmarking service. Created a test World Cup Group and played a bit around with there service. It seems better (a little bit) than del.icio.us - not sure if it is better enuff to actually move all my social bookmarking activity away.
Send me you del.icio.us username
BTW - if you have an account there, and I don’t have your username, please send it to me. I use the for: feature quite liberally and if you ever want me to read something, just tag is for:SEKeener… SEKeener is my username. More info on for:tag
Temperatures and lack of wood stoves
The temperatures got down to about 10 degrees F this weekend up in Snowden. Pretty damn cold. We have a wood stove here, but it’s all warped and not so efficient. I ordered a new wood stove about 3 months ago, but because of the rising gas prices etc, the company I ordered it from still says it is 3 weeks away from delivery and install.
Stuff I have been reading
World Cup Blog - Bob is an amazing passionate writer and his alter ego Pascha kicks some arse on the Angola Team Blog as well. Ben is also writing a lot of timeless travel information on South Africa. Been meaning to pick up some actuall non-digital media, books in particular recently, but I haven’t. Any recommendations out there? If so, email, comment, or for: tag it into my del.icio.us account por favor.
Huge week ahead. Lots of exciting things happening. Have a great week. I’l be up and at ‘em no later than 5 am on monday morning! Can’t wait.

Actually, my favorite time of day is between midnight and 3 am (not that you’ve ever seen it–my early to bed and early to rise friend:-). The city is quiet, the phone never rings, and I can get stuff done and think without interruption. My version of your early mornings (and then I sleep until 10).
Glad you’re back, and it sounds like you’ve had quite the adventures. I’m emailing you today.
Hugs

Can you use more than 1 social bookmarking service? I’ve enjoyed Ben and Bob’s blogs. Both feel strongly for what they do and it shows in their lively writing.
