Some Links and travel thoughts
- Tony Wheeler visited BootsnAll
- I am excited that my old friend Jen Leo is getting married in Vegas next week. She is an awesome old friend and it is fun to see her get jacked up for her big day. Of course, having it in Sin City should be fun for the guests as well.
- Weather in the Pacific Northwest is wonderful in summer.
BnA Travel Stuff
We are cranking away here at BnA. Typically, the 1st half of the year is the time of the year that we make hay so to speak. People are planning trips during the Northern Hemisphere Winter/Spring and are off travelling in the summer. It has been a good year so far, though there are still major challenges ahead.
We started off years ago as a few travelers, who were building a website/community. Our growth far outstripped out capabilities as programmers so the past few years we gathered together what I think is a solid team and smart people to help us continue to grow and build awesome services for independent travellers. I’m excited about getting the final person of the puzzle figured out soon.
Donovan has been reaching out to lotsa adventure minded folks that don’t have a lot of time, but want more than just a week at the beach getting drunk. As usual, folks are into Mt. Kilimanjaro and the video we produced on Mt. Kili gets folks excited about the possibility of climbing it. Donovan is taken off for Nepal and Tibet this fall to experience some of the trips he sells himself. I too am considering going on this Nepal Annapurna Base Camp Trip. Anyone wanna join me?

How was Vegas? Do you have a published interview with Mr Wheeler that you want to share with your readership?
United StatesHey Slip,

Nepal. Wish I could join this trip. Before you go, be sure and get in touch with Jim Wills (he was one of the first trekkers to Nepal and actually set up some of the huts you may be staying at.) You can probably catch up with him either at www.fatbellytraveler.com or webdaki.com.
