Hostel Maps via Google Maps
I wrote about about our Hostel Map integration via Google Maps a few weeks ago. We want to do the same thing for the the UK and Ireland - but how do we convert English addresses into longitude and latitude? We used geocoder.us for the US addresses.

I’ve always used http://www.streetmap.co.uk/
After you search on the address, go to the bottom of the screen where it shows the coordinates. If you want lat/longs just click the convert link and you’ll be taken to a page giving the coordinates in different formats.
Dunno if it handles Ireland, but I’ve geocoded a bunch of stuff in England.
