February 2007 is done and I am a fat prick

So I blogged everyday in January but blew it bigtime this month. Oh well.

If you come to my blog most days and don’t find anything and wish that I was more consistent, consider subscribing to my RSS feed. Just like VentureBlog man says here, you will receive it when I write instead of checking it on sean.keener.org.

Check out www.keener.org. I am and have been using google apps on it since it came out. Pretty handy stuff. If you are a friend of mine or think you are and want your domain set-up on this for yourself…let me know – I’ll set dis up for your man!

A month ago I considered posting that I am a fat prick…well, cuz, I am. A few other bloggers that I read were thinking the same thing and started fatblogging. I reckon I’ll join in and try to publicly embarrass myself as further motivation not to eat like I did in high school/college…. as fast and as much as possible. Of course, as I age – I keep eating and my activity level goes down. So starting today, when I post – I’ll post what I did today exercise wise and my current weight for that extra bit of motivation.

Exercise: Walk so far – maybe gym/run later
Weight: 239.2 (I think I weigh more than Matt Suhey when he was fullback for the bear ’85 team)

Dutch Brothers Coffee and Franchise Opportunities

I am in Corvalis for the day and am using the Dutch Brothers on the OSU campus. Free wifi and friendly service. This is a business that I have strarted noticing the past few months as they are sprouting up all over Oregon. They seem to always have an excellent location, which I imagine is #1 in importance for a drive thru coffee place.

They are currently sold out in Oregon and but still taken franchise applications in 11 western states. Around $130K gets you in the door and started with these folks. Not too much for the guidance and brand.

There are so many opportunities out there to start a business. If you are dreaming of starting one, it doesn’t have to cost 130K – but if you have the capital and are looking, some of these franchise opps are most likely a lot of work, but can pay off rather quick.

Daytona 500 and NASCAR

Sitting here watching the Daytona 500 on a beautiful day. I watched the qualification last weekend from Sunriver with my buddy Scott and it is a lot of fun. The race is fun as well. Just saw this driver Boris Said spin out – but he is still in the race after putting on some new tires.

We are thinking of doing a Nascar Logue much like we did for WCBlog. I think it would be a lot of fun. Anyone know and kick arse Nascar blogger to head it up?

Happy Sunday.

Las Vegas Logue Rocking again

I am happy to see Las Vegas Logue rocking again, just in time for the NBA All-Star Game this weekend there. Michelle did a great job of breaking down all the events and activities going on. Should be a crazy weekend with lots of super rich people descending on the city to 1-up each other. Definately not a time for small fries like me to be hanging. $100 minimum tables anyone? 🙂

Been reading a few blogs the past week or so that say the city is gonna be crippled with traffic. Sich a potentially fun weekend maybe ruined by traffic?

Here is Las Vegas Logue RSS Feed.
